Mystery
Shopper Questionnaire
The mystery shopping opportunity is growing
steadily and shoppers are recruited to carry out assignments
and submit reports which are basically mystery shopper
questionaires.
Mystery Shopper Questionnaire Are Planned to
Be Easy
Mystery shopping companies will usually
prepare a questionnaire for the shoppers to work with. This
mystery shopper questionnaire is written in
a way as to provide feedback to the
company.
Take an example. Say, the
assignment is for a retail store. Then the mystery
shopper may be asked to observe and report on things such as
follows:
• How was he or she greeted
on entering the store?
• What was the general
impression of the store?
• Were the employees
knowledgeable about the products?
• Was the purchase carried
out promptly?
• Was the employee
thanked?
Most mystery shopping questionnaires include questions that can
be answered "Yes" or "No." Generally, if the shopper answers a
question in the negative, he or she is asked to write in more
details. Some multiple choice questions will also be included
as well. This is to allow the mystery shopper to have the
opportunity to check off the specific features and benefits
that employees point out about the products they are selling
during the shop.
A comments section may be included for any other additional
information about anything that stood out in particular.
Planning the mystery shopper questionnaire may also includes
some sort of emphasis on certain factors and a point system may
be established so that the most important parts of the visit
are emphasized.
A mystery shopper questionnaire is
usually fairly easy to fill in and most mystery shoppers would
have no problem in doing it.
